许多眼底病变,当中心凹受累机能丧失时,会发生固视性质的改变,固视点的偏移。视网膜色素变性是以视网膜进行性变性伴有夜盲、视野缩小为特征的一种遗传性疾病,广泛损害感光细胞和色素上皮功能。
We discussed the relationship between fixation and visual function in retinitis pigmen-tosa for the first time.The test was performed on 62 cases,121 eyes,guided by the theoryof two kinds of fixation.We found that there were two kinds of fixation in RP,central andeccentric.Among these cases,69.42% were central,30.58% eccentric.The occurance of ec-centric fixtion was associated with the length of the disease,visual nerve atrophy and thedepth of injury in visual functions.The group of eccentric was worse than that of central inall visual functions.So we think that eccentric fixation is a sign of visual nerve atropy,severeinjury in visual function.the loss of function in fovea centralis when the disease was at itslate course.We draw the conclusion that the examination of fixation play an important rolein evaluating the visual function in patients with RP.
