摘要
针对单一ＰＶＡ淬火介质存在的问题研制了一种改进的复合型水溶性聚合物淬火介质一ＬＡ淬火介质。该介质基本消除了单一的ＰＶＡ介质的不足，保持了聚合物介质的一般优点。本文研究了ＬＡ介质的基本特性，对钢件的实际淬火效果，同时还对介质的老化性能进行了考察。结果表明，ＬＡ介质对钢件具有较好的淬火效果，使用性能稳定，加之介质原料来源广、成本低，因而具有良好的应用价值。
A modified q uenchant,named LA,has been developed by adding another Polymer B topolyvinyl alcohol(PVA)solutions.kremoves the inperfections of the single PVA quenchant and retainsthe general advantages of polymer media. This paper deals with the basic properties of LA medium and itspractical quenching responses to steel components.Service ageing test on LA medium was made. The re-sults indicate that compared with the existing quenchant,the LA quenchant is more efficient in work andhas stabler properties and lower cost.Therefore,there will be good prospects for its practical apDlicationin production
