新药葛根素的研究

A NEW DRUG“PUERARIN”

葛根系是中药葛根中提取的主要有效成分，实验证明扩张心脑血管，降低心肌氧耗，改善心肌收缩和促进血液微循环等作用，用于治疗视网膜动脉和静脉阻塞，突发性耳聋等症，计381例，总有效率为70－80％，葛根素注射剂起效快，毒性低，治疗视网膜动脉和静脉阻塞的效果明显优于其它治疗药物，用葛根素治疗与心脑循环障碍有关的其它疾病的临床试验，也有医院在继续进行中。

Puerarin,mainly an active constituent of the traditional Chineseherb Radix Puerariae lobata is pharmacologically shown with effects on dilating thecardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems,diminishing myocardial oxygen consump-tion improving myocardial contractility and promoting microcirculation.In clinicalstudy of treating 381 cases with retinal arterial and venous occlusion and acute vascu-lar deafness,there appeared an overall effective rate of 70%～80%.Because of itsquick effects,low toxicity and superior therapeutic efficacy,it has recently been ap-proved by the Ministry of Public Health to set into commercial production.Clinical tri-als on Puerarin for the treatment of other diseases relevant to cardiovascular or cere-brovascular circulation disturbances are still under way in some hospitals.
