Recognition of the Standardization Work in Petroleum Engineering

本文阐述了石油工程建设标准的目的性、先进性、系统性、超前性、综合性、地区性和不可挽回性等7大特性。论述了标准制定的原则、质量、审查等重大课题。特别指出在采标过程中要正确处理采标的先进性与我国国情的适应性之间的关系；正确处理采标的系统性及被采用标准与我国标准体系的相容性之间的关系；正确处理采标中的工艺水平与设备水平之间的关系。

The seven characteristics of petroleum engineering standards are expounded: purposefulness, progressiveness, systematicness, farsightedness, comprehensiveness, locality, and irretrievability. The important problems in standardization, such as principles should be followed during standard formulation, quality, and draft examination are stated. It is pointed out especially that in the course of adopting international standards it is necessary to handle properly the relationship between the progressiveness of the standard to be adopted and its adaptability to the concrete condition of adopted China, the relationship between the systematicness of the standard to be adopted and its compatibility with the standard system of China, as well as the relationship between the technological level of the standard to be adopted and the equipment level required.
