摘要
本文回顾了我的生平和在半个多世纪的地学教育和地学研究中所取得的主要成绩:培养了大批地学人才;首次将柯本气候分类法介绍到中国;绘制了中国第一张人口密度图;提出了瑷珲-腾冲人口分界线,此线被国内外地学界称为"胡焕庸线"。
This paper deals chiefly with my career and achievements in the educationand research of geography.These achievements include the training of alarge number of geographers,the introduction for the first time K(?)ppen'sclimatic classification into China,the drawing the first map of Chinesepopulation density ard the contribution in putting forward the Aihui-Teng-chong population demarcation line known among geographers in China and inother countries as'Hu Huanyong line'.
