摘要
本文指出煤、焦炭、球团和烧结技术在中国用于冶金的起始年代,特别是炼银和炼铜时所用团块技术,有可能追溯到更早的时期,其成就是非常卓越的,并是大规模冶炼铜、银的关键。
This paper points out the approximate time when China started to usecoal,coke,briquetting and agglomeration in metallurgy,and stresses thatthe invention of briquetting,which is a critical technique for the massproduction of copper and silver and thus a remarkable achievement,maybe traced to an earlier period.
