In 1990s,the athletic and recreational facilities in university has a rapid develop-ment and becomes on important subject for study.This paper has pointed out theproblems of ideology and design model in the development of the athletic andrecreational facilities in university.Having analysed the contents and characteristicsof athletic and recreational activity in university,authors present the suggestions offounding the new design model and developing the multi-purpose,efficient athleticand recreational facilities in university.
