Treatment of Soft-tissue Pyogenic Infection in Diabetic Subjects by Local Application of U-40 Regular Insulin

根据国外基础理论研完结果,我科创建的正规胰岛素对糖尿病软组织化脓性感染局部治疗方法疗效佳、操作简便、价廉,具有实用性。

A new approach, local application of U-40 regular insulin to treat softtissue pyogenic infection in diabetics, was firstly recommended based on the xeperimental studies abroad on local environment of soft-tissue pyogenic infection in diabetic mice . Sixteen diabetic patients with 32 foci of infection were treated by this approach.The period of time for healing the foci is dramatically shortened with a mean value of 15.4 days (61.3 days under control conditions) . In summary , this new approach is effective, cheap, simple and practicable.
