Pattern Recognition Applied to Optimize and Predict the Process Parameters of Al_2O_3-TiC-ZrO_2 Nanocomposites

摘要 利用燃烧合成 热压工艺制备Al2 O3 TiC ZrO2 纳米复合材料 ,利用计算机模式识别技术中的非线性映照对其工艺参数进行分析。以陶瓷的抗弯强度和断裂韧性作为判据 ,给出参数目标优化区域。采用非线性逆映照研究不同工艺参数对材料性能的影响趋势 ,并对工艺参数进行预报和设计 ,再用实验结果予以验证 ,克服了传统“炒菜式”合成方法的盲目性。 Combustion synthesis hot pressing sintered of Al 2O 3 TiC ZrO 2 nanocomposites by reaction of TiO 2 Al C ZrO 2 system is a new method with advantages of efficiency and simplicity. It is important to select a set of suitable process condition to synthesize the high performance composites, but it is very difficult because of the complexity of the whole process. By means of the non linear mapping, one kind of pattern recognition technique, the principal factors (the content of ZrO 2 nanometric additives, the temperature and pressure of hot pressing process) affecting the bending strength and the fracture toughness of Al 2O 3 TiC ZrO 2 nanocomposites are discussed. The optimized range was given. The non linear inverse mapping was used to predict the effects of various factors on the properties of nanocomposites. The predicted results agree well with the experimental ones. It has demonstrated that the mentioned optimization technique provides a technical approach to predic the process parameters and to improve the bending strength and fracture toughness of Al 2O 3 TiC ZrO 2 nanocomposites.
