Oils from some traditional Chinese medicine such as A.Chinensis (DC.)Koidz., Amomum villosum Lour.,Cyperus rotundus L. were extracted with supercritical carbon dioxide at temperature between 308K and 318Kand pressure between 20 and 25 MPa.The collected extracts by supercritical carbon dioxide and water steam were analyzed by GC,GC-MS and the relative composition of the oils was determined.The results showed that the yields of extracts from supercritical carbon dioxide extraction were increased greatly with their qualities improved obviously compared with those from steam distillation.
