Synthesis of Aromatic Hyperbranched Polyesters and Modification of Their End groups

摘要 Soluble aromatic hyperbranched polyesters with controlled viscosities have been prepared by melt polycondensation of sililated 5 acetoxyisophathalic acid with sililated p tert butyl benzoic acid in various molar ratios. By further reaction with thionyl chloride and propargyl alcohol successively, the endgroups of the crude polyester were transferred into ethynylic groups in 78 2% yield as calculated by 1H NMR spectra.
