The progress of low temperature sintering ferrite powder are reviewed on the basis of the major projects under The State 863 Plan and the important theses of The 8th International Conference on Ferrite. NiCuZu ferrite, MgCuZn ferrite and hexagonal crystal system Co 2Z ferrite prepared by solid phase reaction are presented. And the achievement of newly developed NiCuZu ferrite and hexagonal crystal system Co 2Z ferrite prepared by soft chemical technique are reported. (14 refs.)
