摘要
无失真图象压缩编码在某些对图象质量要求比较高的应用领域具有一定的应用价值。静态图象压缩标准 JPEG中给出了无失真压缩算法即 DPCM差分预测编码 ,本文通过对其中定义的七种预测算子压缩性能进行分析和比较 ,指出图象本身所包含的行相关以及列相关特征对于预测算子的选择具有一定的参考价值 ,从而在一定程度上提高预测的准确性 ,缩小预测误差 ,提高压缩效率。
The distortionless image compression coding method is of some value to the application of higher guality images.The static image compression standard JPEG presents a distortionless compression algorthm,i e., the prediction difference coding method(PDCM).The paper analyses compression performance of seven prediction operators defined in the algorithm and compares among them.Then,points out that the performance of the row correlation and column correlation in an image is of value for reference to the selection of prediction operators.So,the prediction accuracy,in a certain sense,is improved,the prediction error is reduced and the compession effeciency is raised.
