This paper introduces the Active Server Page(ASP) server script programming environment and its principle and discusses the application of the ASP technology to the campus network. By establishing the remote management interface and the dynamic Web pages in the client side,the practical plan for the “soft world” database management system is developed. A settlement for the matter of system appearing in the practice is presented.Finally,the effectiveness of the system in the campus environment is stated.
