Contour Cross-Section Method for Obtaining DTM Data from Topographic Maps by Man-Machine System

本文提出了利用人机对话系统从地形图上采集横断面与等高线各交点上的数据来建立数字地形模型的等高线-横断面法,并就两种不同的地形条件,对采用本方法和其它方法所获取的格网数据结果在精度和效率方面进行了比较和讨论,证明了本方法的优越性。

A new method of picking out the data of every intersectingpoint of cross-sections and contours from topographic maps bymeans of a man-machine system to build a digital terrain model(DTM) is proposed. It is called 'Contour Cross-Section Method'by the author. Grid data resulting from the proposed methodand other methods under two terrains of different topographicfeatures are compared, showing that the proposed method giveshigher precision and efficiency.
