摘要 Amethodforcalculatingpalaeoclimateindexinquaternarypollen-sporeanalysisLuoLunde(DepartmentofGeography,SouthwestChinaNormalUni... This paper deals with the mathematical calculating method about Air-Temperature Index(ATI) and Water-Precipitation Index (WPI) how they are evaluated by using the data of pollen-sporeassemblage (catagory and percentage of pollen, spore) on pollen-spore analysis.ATI includes 3 con-cepts : Plant-Ecology-ATI, Pollen-Spore Contents Tl, Sample Annual-Average ATI. WPI includes 3concepts: Plant-Ecology WPI, Pollen-Spore Contents WPI, Sample Annual-Averase WPI. They areparameters showing palaeoclimate in Quaternary. In the paper, the author introduces the meanins ofthe concepts and the principle of the calculating. And the key point is the method to evaluate them andto revise them. The method may be an important measure to study palaeoclimate and environment quan-titatively.
