According to the objective law of basketball and the trait of the skills and tactics develop-ment of modern basketball , based on the data of the investigations made by 30 Chinese experts of sportstraining, this paper uses principle coordiriate method, with computer-aided survey, riddles 8 sorts ofmajor appraisal targets of evaluating basketbell players' athletics abilities from 36 sorts of componentfactor targets that effect on basketball players' athletics abilities, and arranges them in the order oftheir importance. This paper studies the component factors.of basketball players' athletics abilities andthe appraisal target. It provides theoretical basis for the iniprovement of the level of scientifically ap-praising beketball players' athletics abilities, and lays a foundetion for the establishment of the scientif-ic appraisal model.
