摘要
本文报道了南海珊瑚礁各类样品的ESR测年及在第四纪礁相地质学上的应用,方解石化珊瑚礁灰岩的ESR年龄可高达126万年;此外还对各类样品的测年信号的选取及有关问题做了较详细的讨论。
ESR dating were applied to the age determination of various kinds of samples from coral reefs in the South China Sea and to the study of Quaternary reef geology.The ESR-ages of the corals calcitized could reach up to 1.26 Ma and were examined through biostratigraphy and lithostrati-graphy.The selection of ESR signals for dating and the relating problems were also discussed in the paper.
