FUTURE SEA LEVEL RISE AND ITS EFFECT ON FUZHOU AREA

讨论了未来全球海平面上升及其对福州地区将产生的影响,认为如果未来百年内海平面上升1m,闽江下游近300km^2的土地将受被淹没的威胁,同时将加重洪涝灾害,引起沿海岸滩侵蚀,导致盐水入侵影响工农业和居民用水及给沿岸农田带来盐渍化危险等等。据此,进一步探讨了一些相应的对策与措施。

This paper advances a discussion on future sea level rise deriving from global warming and its adverse effects on the natural environment and economy in Fuzhou area,Fujian Province.It is believed that even an one-meter rise in sea level next century may produce an inundation by about 300 km2 a,t low reach of the Minjiang River,aggravating flood disater and shore erosion,as well as the intrusion of saltwater into the esturay and aquifers.On grounds of this,measures to reduce the possible loss incurred from the expecting sea level rise are introduced.
