第二军医大学根据“211工程”重点建设高等院校的遴选条件，首先在深化教学改革上，以“坚持以教学为中心，以德育教育为首要环节，以改革教学内容为重点”的思路，积极把改革引入新的阶段；在已具有一定特色和优势的学科建设上，以“区分三个层次，落实两级管理”的学科建设思路，争取学科整体实力再上一个台阶；并且在科研、科技开发、基础设施和设备的建设等方面提高水平，增强办学实力。争取跻身“211工程”，创一流名牌医科大学。

In accordance with the selection requirements of the'Project 211'in building up a keyuniversity,No 2 Army Medical University,firstly,in deepening the teaching reform,has en-thusiastically led the reform to a new stage by adhering to the teaching as the central task,moral education as the key link and the teaching content reform as the focal point.Secondly,in the construction of disciplines with certain feature and superiority,according to the think-ing of discipline construction:'distinguishing three 1evels and implementing two-1evel admin-istration',she has striven to promote disciplines as a whole into a higher level.In addition,she has improved in scientific research,scientific and technical development and the construc-tion of basic installations and facilities,thus gaining in strength of running the university forranking among the'Project 211'and distinguishing herslf as one of the most popular medi-cal universities of the country.
