Fully Understanding the Connotation of Scientific Education

当前我国科学教育存在的主要问题是:把科学教育片面理解为传播科学知识的教育,而忽视了科学思想、科学方法和科学精神的培养教育,这与新时代的要求极不相适应。文章指出,必须全面理解科学教育的内涵,要充分认识到在培养跨世纪创新人才的过程中,科学思想、科学方法和科学精神的教育,比之单纯传授科学知识的教育起着更为至关重要的作用。

Regarding scientific education as teaching the scientific knowledge one - sidedly and ignoring thecultivation of scientific ideas, methods and spirit are the major problems ekisting in science education. Therefore,compared with merely teaching scientific knowledge, fully understanding the connotation of scientific education, i. e.teaching scientific ideas, methods and spirit are more important in the process of cultivating cross - century talents.
