摘要
本文根据1953～1984年间北极海冰资料和西北太平洋热带气旋资料,统计分析了北极海冰覆盖面积与西北太平洋（包括南海）的热带气旋之间的关系。结果表明,冬半年北极海冰覆盖面积的变化对西北太平洋热带气旋的活动有显著影响,海冰覆盖量偏少年,生成在西北太平洋及登陆我国的热带气旋数偏多;海冰覆盖量偏多年热带气旋数偏少。
Based on the data of the Arctic monthly ice and tropical cyclones during 1953-1984.The relationship is statistically analysed. between the Arctic ice coverage and the frequency of occurrence for Northwest pacific ( including the south china sea) tropical cyclones. The results show that the variations of the Arctic ice cover in winter half year have a considerable effect on the tropical cyclone activities over the Northw-estrn Pacific.The average frequency of tropical cyceones generating over the Northwest Pacific and landing on china is more than normal in the negative departure years of the Arctic ice index, and less in the positive departure years.
