摘要
阐述了在综合业务网上提供不同服务质量QoS的方法 ,由于网络应用需要不同的服务质量 ,IETF提出了综合服务模型 .首先描述了综合服务的 3个服务等级和相应的服务质量 ,接着分析了综合服务实现框架的基本组件 :分组分类、调度、准许控制、分组丢弃和预留协议 ,其中包括路由器中对通信量控制的实现机制 。
This paper expounds provisioning a set of Quality of Service(QoS)in integrated services network. As network applications need different quality of service,IETF proposed integrated services model. We first depict three service degrees and their quality of service,then state the basic components of Int-Serv implementation framework which includes packet classification,scheduling,admission control,packet dropping and resource reservation,and implementation mechanism of traffic control in router,finally study resource reservation protocol which is the signaling protocol of integrated services and its support to quality of service in Int-Serv.
