This paper introduces the developing of Chinese Character Help Library-CLEXICAL, the method and procedure of the system command Chinese character handling on VAX8550 computerLEXICAL, a parameter of the system help commands, has 32 functions is a command used frequently in writing system command procedure; LEXICAL can call system services and record management services directly. It is one of the most useful tools to manage and develop the system.
