Based on EDI and enterprise operation strategy relationships, the paper discusses the important role EDl plays in promoting the reform of enterprise operation,and analyses the direct, indirect and strategic benefits EDI creates for the enterprise operation; also it points out the fields for the application of EDI in enterprise operation -integrated application and cash management.
