所介绍的采用新结构、新材料、新工艺制造的 G- M计数管具有很好的可靠性 ,其连续工作寿命在 5× 10 11以上 ,可连续工作十几年 ,断续工作寿命 (类似于储存寿命 )约是 2 0 a,在此期间的失效率在 5× 10 -6/ h以下。卤素 G- M计数管的可靠性与电离室、半导体探测器、闪烁体光电倍增管探头相当。
The demands of reliability on monitoring and controlling apparatuses of nuclear reactor is awfully high. By adopting new structure, new material, and new process, the G M counter tube has a very high reliability. Its mean life time of operating can surpass 5×10 11 , and it can be operated continuously for more than 10 years. The mean life time of operating off and on ( similar to storing life time) reaches 20 years during which the failure rate is smaller than 5×10 -6 /h. So the reliability of G M counter tube is similar to ionizing chamber, semiconductor detector and the photoelectric multiplier of scintillator.
