从分析结果表明,有机质、氮、磷的含量分布与流的方法基本一致,它们的含量大小与沉积物粒度呈相关关系,颗粒愈细含量愈大;氮以有机氮为主要存在形式,磷则以无机磷和有机磷同时并存;闽江口附近及福建近岸沉积物中有机质的来源以陆源为主,海峡中央以海相输入为主。
The distribution regularity of organic oarbon, total nitrogen and total phosphorus contents in sediments from central and northern Taiwan Strait is identical to the tendency of sea current. For example, the sorthern area investigated in the central Strait is affected perennially by the strait warm current,element contents in sediments show a low value of northeast trend.The contents of above components are related to grain size of sediments, the content is high in fine grai sediments, which is in accordance with the regularity of dominating grains.There is an obvious positive correlation between organic carbon and total nitrogen content, it shows that nitrogen mainly exists in organic nitrogen form, and phosphorous in simultaneously inorganic phosphorus and organic phosphorus form.Organic matter in sediments from the nearby area of the Min River estuary and Fujian offshore region are mainly continental organic matter carried by the runoff of the Min River's outlet and near-shore, but organic matter in sediments in the central strait come mainly from the open sea.
