本文用含β-VLDL 的培养基体外培养小白鼠腹腔巨噬细胞,结果表明:β-VLDL 使细胞内胆固醇酯含量增加10倍;使胞内 ACAT 活性增加5倍.此提示β-VLDL 与动脉粥样硬化中泡沫细胞的形成密切相关.
The paper describes the effect of β mobility of very low density lipoprotein(β-VLDL)on mouse peritoneal macrophages in vitro.The data show that,after cells are incubated with Eagle's medium containing β-VLDL,the content of choleseryl ester(CE)in the cell is 11.3 times that before incuba- tion and acyl:cholesterol acyl acytransferase(ACAT)activity is 5.6 times that before incubation.
