简要叙述了无伸缩装置桥梁在美国、日本及我国的发展情况及使用过程中的主要问题 ,介绍了部分无伸缩装置的构造、设计与施工方法 ,并对无伸缩装置桥梁设计中的一些问题进行了初步讨论 .

The development and research of bridges without expansion joints in America, Japan and China and the problems existing in service have been introduced. The design and construction of no-joint bridges have been presented. The problems of designing such bridges have been discussed, which can be used for reference in application and popularization of bridges without expansion joints in China.
