摘要
网络互连协议 (InternetProtocol,IP)与异步转移模式 (ATM )是目前网络市场上的两大主流。随着网络对宽频带应用的需求 ,IP和ATM这两种技术中哪种最适合提供宽频带应用服务 ,并且进而成为未来Internet的主流 ,以及它们是否可以共存或者互相支援 。
IP and ATM are the two arteries of recent network market. This paper discusses the problem which is adapt to providing the wide band service between IP and ATM with the needing of the wide band applying, then becomes the artery of the future Internet, as well as whether IP and ATM could coexistence and support each other.
