Ellipse-offset method for calculating the offset curve of ruled surface in WEDM

提出了直纹面线切割加工中用椭圆偏置法计算电极丝中心轨迹的方法 ,并用仿真实例验证了该方法的有效性。

A ellipse-offset method for machining of ruled surface in Wire Electronic Discharge Machining is developed to calculate the offset curves for tool path planning. Computer implementation and illustrative examples are presented to prove the validity of this method.
