摘要
研究了链转移剂对悬浮法聚氯乙烯(PVC)树脂颗粒特性的影响。结果表明:巯基乙醇使氯乙烯—分散剂水溶液的界面张力降低,分散剂的保胶能力减弱。以致分散剂用量少时,颗粒变粗或结块;分散剂用量多时,颗粒变细或几乎不变。这一变化与分散剂的稳定作用有关。同时发现,巯基乙醇可改善树脂内部形态而使树脂具有良好的单体脱吸性能.
Effect of chain transfer agent on the particle property of suspension PVC was studied. It was found that mercaptoethanol(ME) affects the dispersing property by decreasing the interfacial tension and lowering the protective colloid ability, resulting in increasing average particle size of PVC at the normal amount of dispersing agent, while decreasing or leveling of averae particle size off as more dispersing agent is present, The difference might be due to the different stabilization of the dispersing agent.Meanwile, ME improves VC desorption behavior of PVC.
