摘要 从传统内部网关协议的局限性出发,讨论了引入网络流量工程的必要性。深入分析了实施基于MPLS框架的网络流量工程所需的各项核心技术:多层转发、受限选路、改进的内部协议网关,以及相关技术细节。作为总结,给出了基于MPLS的网络流量工程的完整原理框图。 : The goal of traffic engineering is to facilitate efficient and reliable network operations while optimizing network resource utilization and traffic performance. Some of the well-known limitations of conventional Internal Gateway Protocol(IGP) with regard to traffic engineering are firstly reviewed in this article. Then the key mechanisms of traffic engineering based on MPLS framework including Overlay Model, Constraint-based Routing and Enhanced Link State IGPs are described in detail. Finally, a principle diagram of MPLS based network traffic engineering is presented as a conclusion.
