摘要
文中首先论述了基于几何的建模系统的主要缺陷以及特征和特征建模技术的基本概念及研究现状。以此为基础,详细地介绍了作者研制的用于描述回转体零件的特征分类层次结构和基于特征的回转体零件建模系统-FBPMS。这个系统的主要特点是:建模系统只管理特征模型;用于屏幕显示和绘制工程图的几何模型由一个通用CAD系统管理。这种方法具有可移植性好,能用两层数据库管理系统管理等优点。最后文中还介绍了一种以上述特征层次结构为基础的特征图素组合法自动绘图原理及其实现。
This paper frist introduts the main disadvantages of geometry-based modelling systems and the concept of features. A brief overview of the research status of feature modelling technology is gived. Following, a featrue hierachy of rotational parts description and a feature-based partsmodelling system-FBPMS are presented. The main feature of FBPMS is that the modelling sysem manages only the feature models, while the geomelrical models, driven by the feature models,for displying and drafting of drawing are managed by a general CAD system. This strategy is of benefit to the protability and can be managed by two-layered database management System. Finally, the drafting j&rinciples and implementation of combined feature graphic elements are described, and an example is illustrated.
