随着城市特别是中小城市的进一步发展，环境地质问题更加显现出来。地质环境制约着城市的选址、布局和发展，反过来城市的发展又进一步引发环境地质问题。如何严格地实施和执行环境地质法规和相关政策，是合理利用和保护城市地质环境、实施城市可持续发展战略的关键因素之一。

With the increasing expansion of cities, especially, small and medium-sized ones, the problems of environmental geology for the urban development become more and more prominent. Environmental geology of urban affects the choice of locations, layo ut and development. On the other hand, the urban development also results in the problems of environmental geology. So how to strictly carry out the laws and po licies concerning environmental geology is one of the key factors that utilizes and protects urban environment rationally as well as maintains sustainable devel opment in a strategic way.
