The development of novel and high performance fibers will have significant and potential in the near future. Synthetic fiber producers are interest in developing fibers that have the best of both synthetic and natural fibers' properties. Many leading fiber manufacturers are concentrating their efforts on developing ecologically friendly fibers from renewable resources. Bioteclmology will play more and more important role in future fiber production.
