For the past 2 years, Philips Electronics has been working on a unique breakthrough in mixing electronic, fashion and textile technology to create an entirely new clothing concept. Philips Research laboratories are using conductive fiber technology and textile processes such as printing, weaving and knitting to create intelligence in garments combined with the development of the smart seams and innovative garment construction.
