The molecular distribution has been measured with Gel permeation Chromatography. The results show that the distribution of PC prepared by foreign countries is narrower than that of the domestic. The thermal stability of PC studied by in situ dynamic FT IR displays that the broken temperature range of ether linkage of PC is 350~380 ℃. The results of TG analysis show that the starting temperature range of decomposition of PC is 350~370 ℃, and the decompositing temperature range is 450~500 ℃. The difference of thermal stability between samples mainly lies in the molecular distribution of samples.
