Under cold sizing one understands the lubrication of warps with specific fluid sizing products at room temperature without drying. The application of the cold sizing agent occurs with the known waxing machine on the sectional warping machine between warping drum and beaming machine. The investment and running costs are lower than with conventional hot sizing.
