本文较为全面地介绍了Ｍ１系列车用柴油机，重点阐述其结构特点和运行特性并给出了主要技术参数和试验测试结果；还简要叙述了其应用情况。
A general description has been made of M1 series diesel engine in this paper, where the design features and performances of the engine are focused; Meanwhile, basic parameters and some test results are given, and application is briefed as well.
