Extraction and Content Determinations of Polysaccharide of Snakegourd root

目的 :从天花粉中提取多糖并测定其含量。方法 :用水提醇沉法提取天花粉多糖 ,用酚 -硫酸比色法测定多糖含量。结果 :测得天花粉中多糖含量 0 .840 9% ,平均回收率为 97.82 % ,RSD=1.96 % (n=5 )。结论 :天花粉多糖含量不是很高 。

Purpose: To extract the polysaccharide from Snakegourd root and determine its contents. Methods:Polysaccharides of Snakegourd root were obtained by hot water extraction and ethanol precipitation and its contents were determined with Phenol vitriol colorimetry. Results: The polysaccharides content of Snakegourd root is 0.84% and the average recovery is 97.82% with RSD 1.96%(n=5). Conclusion: The polysaccharides content of Snakegourd root is not high and the extraction method should be improved.
