摘要
目的研究吸烟与老年人颈动脉粥样硬化的相关性。方法用超声显像检测61例吸烟的老年人与对照组颈动脉结构及血流状态。结果 长期吸烟的老年人颈动脉粥样硬化及斑块的发生率明显高于对照组(63.93％vs20,69％,P<0.001;47.54％vs17.24％,P<0.001)。结论长期吸烟可明显地促进颈动脉粥样硬化。
Objective To study the correlation between smoking and carotid atherosclerosis in the elderly. Methods The carotid structure and blood flow in 61 smoking elderly and control group were surveied and compared by ultrasound. Results The incidence of carotid atherosclerosis and plaques in the smoking elderly persons for long time was much higher than those in the controls (63. 93% vs 20. 69%, P<0. 001; 47. 5% vs 17. 2% , P<0. 001). Conclusion Smoking for long time significantly promotes atherosclerosis in the elderly.
