江奈生·斯威夫特的讽刺天才使他在英国文学史上占了一席之地。他的代表作是讽刺小说《格列佛游记》。它与中国古典小说《镜花缘》相比 ,两者所产生的地域和年代都相距甚远 ,但在形式和内容上却有许多相似之处。
Gulliver's Travels is an important work in the history of the world literature.Its author,Jonathan Swift,was one of the greatest satirists in the world.It is significant to compare Gulliver's Travels with Flower Fairies Seen in the Mirror,a Chinese novel by Li Ruzhen.Both books have many interesting differences as well as similarities,and the comparison can help us to know and understand better the diversity between the traditional culture of China and that of the West.
