The Environmental Geological Proplems and Its Effects to Flood Contrd Works in Middle and Lower Reaches of The Changjiang River

今夏,长江继1954年后再次发生全流域特大洪灾。根据对长江中下游的水土流失、江湖淤积、地面沉降等环境地质所作的分析,日益严重的环境地质问题是洪灾加剧的重要原因,并对防洪工程产生不利影响。

This year summer, flood hazard once again occurred in the Chanqjiang River. The flood control works has standed severe test. The envronmental geological problems are becoming serious increasingly. This is one of the reasons Why flood hazard has been aggravated. This paper has analysed soil erosion, riverand lakes deposit, land subsidence of environmental geological problems in middle and lower reaches of the Changjiang River and expounded its effects to flood control works.
