集智慧之大成的信息系统——Internet 被引量:16

摘要 90年代初期中国学者提出了开放的复杂巨系统理论,以及处理开放的复杂巨系统的方法论—从定性到定量的综合集成研讨厅体系。本文首先阐述了综合集成研讨厅体系思想的精要,接着从复杂性的角度出发,剖析与揭示了Internet系统的演化性、涌现性、开放性等本质特性,指出Internet是一个集智慧之大成的信息系统,处理Internet系统及其相关问题的方法论是综合集成研讨厅体系。 Internet is highly related to various walks of life. In this article, we make discussion on Internet from point of view of complexity. Our first attention is paid to Open Complex Giant Systems(OCGS) proposed by Chinese scientists in 1990. We briefly introduce OCGS and its methodology, Hall for Workshop of Metasynthetic Engineering (HWME). We conclude that the characteristics of Open Complex Giant Systems are openness, evolution, hierarchy and emergence. Then we argue that Internet is an evolutionary, open giant intelligent complex system. Internet emerged after USInternet interconnected with almost all main networks around the world, and became users' network. Internet is an integrated state and intelligent behavior results from hundreds of thousands of networks and the interaction between millions upon millions of users and hosts. It hierarchical domain naming and IP addressing systems connect all hosts and networks into one unified, seamless worldwide network. Internet will not be Internet without hosts or man, it is a man-machine cooperated intelligent system. The methodology of Metasynthesizing is used and reflected consciously and unconsciously during the development of Internet. The emerging problems from Internet are not only of technology, but also related to social factors. This kind of problems, such as information and system security, came forth quickly and are becoming more and more complex now. We believe, the Hall for Workshop of Metasynthetic Engineering is an effective key to these complex problems interrelated to Internet.
