摘要
要加快实现农村经济增长方式的两个根本性转变，必须用现代科学技术来装备农业。综观国内外农业信息技术的发展过程，21世纪中国农业必将走向农业信息化。我国需要大力推进包括信息技术在内的农业科技革命，加强农村经济信息体系建设。推动农业信息技术革命，促进农业信息化是迈入21世纪以“知识经济”为时代特征的我国农业和农村社会经济发展的必然选择。
：In order to quicken the step of the two essential transformations of rural economic growth，agriculture industry should be equipped with modern science and technology．Acording to the development of agricultural information technology both at home and abroad，Chinese agriculture will be on the way to the ariculture informatization in 21 centruy．We should push forward the agricultural technology revolution including anformation techonlogy and strengthen the construction of the rural information system．Promoting agricultural information technology revolution and improving agricultural informatization is the inexorable choice for the development of Chinese agriculture and rural society and economy in the 21 century that bears the characteristic of knowledge－based economy．
