:The revolutionary ideology effected a profound change in women's lit e rature in the 1920s and 1930s, when a great number of female writers touched up on the socio-political revolution of the time to varying extent and in various ways in their works. From the feminist angle this article examines how the wome n 's literature of the 1920s and 1930s neglected the great distinction between w om en's self and the state, class and nation, at the same time revealing a high con sciousness of gender remoulding; and how it effected a crack in certain aspe cts of the overriding male-chauvinist culture, at the same time being steadily inco rporated into the mainstream speech.
