摘要 目的:了解性激素对喉癌的影响。方法:测定20例喉癌和非喉癌组织的5α-还原酶(5αR)和17β-羟类固醇脱氢酶(17β-(OH)SDH)的活性,此两酶分别涉及睾酮转化为二氢睾酮和雌二醇转化为雌酮。结果:5αR的活性在两种组织中没有差别。相反,17β-(OH)SDH活性在喉癌组织中明显降低,仅为非喉癌组织的50%。 AIM:To study the effect of sex hormones on laryngeal carcinoma.METHODS:The activities of 5α-reductase(5α-R)and 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(17β (OH)SDH) were assied in 20 specimens of carcinous and non-carcinous laryngeal tissues. The two enzymes play an important role in conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone and estrodiol into estrone respectively. RESULTS:The activity of 5α-R is on difference between carcinous tissue and non-carcinous tissue. While the 17β (OH)SDH activity decreased markedly in carcinous tissue. which was only 50% of that in non-carcinous tissue. CONCLUSION:The sex hormones promoted laryngeal carcinoma growth are probably estrogen, not androgen.
