To find naturally occurring from Bidens bipinnata L.which prevent complications of diabetes. five different extractions of Bidens bipinnata L. were extramined for inhibitory effects on human muscle aldose reductase. EtOAc extraction of Bidens bipinnata L. showed a high activity on aldose reductase.
