摘要
介绍了大陆岩石圈有效弹性厚度(Te)的概念及研究状况,并对其动力学意义作了探讨。大陆岩石圈有效弹性厚度不仅受板块热结构(热年龄)的控制,同样也受壳幔边界性质(拆离或耦合)、力学地壳厚度及其与地幔厚度比等因素控制。Te反映了地形、板块边界力及岩石圈结构之间的动态平衡。
This paper reviews the study of the effective elastic thickness of continental lithosphere and discusses primarily its geodynamical significance. The 'Te' of the continental lithosphere is controlled not only by its thermal structure as in the case of the oceanic lithosphere, but also in conjunction with two other equally important complementary mechanisms: (1) the strength reduction of crust-mantle decoupling and (2) the presence of the surface and subsurface loads. Therefore 'Te' reflects a current dynamic balance among the topography, plate boundary forces, and lithospheric structure.
